The overreaction on this board is beyond laughable. All of the same candidates are still in play. Nobody wanted Woodward making the next hire anyway. Just take a few deep breaths and relax.

Woodward will still be a player in the hire IMO… even if he won’t be the AD for long.
He’s too connected and even if not the AD or “making the hire” he still wants LSU to make a good hire

All Sexton cares about is money…. I seriously doubt he’s going to give up whatever he could get for one of his clients to coach LSU over a petty political statement.

Reading between the lines, he doesn't like the 9 figure contracts with buyouts, which is what it takes to land a big name coach these days, especially one represented by Sexton, who represents a whole lot of LSU's targets
