For starters, Thursday (the 28th) is when this Iowa dude is talking about.
OU practices in the mornings. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the hardest practices, but Thursday isn't a light practice. Mondays and Fridays are "light" days. Depending on if it's an away game or not. Away games, they leave on Fridays.
On the 28th, Thursday last week, OU was doing game prep. Some of that involved moving a safety (Key Lawrence) to CB to counter Texas Tech's bigger WRs/TEs. Lincoln was there, on the field, in Norman, OK.
There's no chance Lincoln flew out on Wednesday night or Thursday morning, skipped practice, and no one in Norman found out. Zero percent. The Norman airport is ran by the University of Oklahoma. They track every flight Lincoln jumps on/off. Logged, etc. He's not going to be able to sneak in/out. News of him flying to Baton Rouge would have been all over the OU boards. It would have been leaked on purpose.
There was no flight to Baton Rouge from Norman. There was a flight from Baton Rouge to Norman. I seriously doubt it had anything to do with LSU's coaching search though and this Iowa dude is guessing. If an LSU dude jumped off the flight, people in Norman would've known that too.

Lincoln also spoke to the media on Thursday.

Im not saying LR is staying or going I have no clue, if he is leaving 3 ppl know, Bob Stoops, Joe C and President Harroz. If Lincoln is nothing else he is a high integrity loyal guy and would keep those 3 in the loop the entire time. As a OU grad I am mixed on LR..bigtime offensive recruiter, perhaps the best in the country but on the other hand I feel like we play somewhat soft and the team feeds off his nice guy personality. I have great respect for LSU and wouldn't blame him if he left, OU would be fine and probably go after a hot asst like we always do..someone like Freeman or Lanning...

I got the flight info post fact. I am in the industry and when I start looking for someone and know the airports involved everything else gets pretty easy.
I actually looked into the travel info to check out what the source said.
