Petrino's a job hopper anyway,all Arky's know that.

The move to Florida would be great, put him closer to all the Falcon fans that hate him. Sounds like a good move to me.

Good riddance!

Malzahn would be welcomed back with open arms and would most assuredly be Jeff Long's first phone call.

Malzahn at Arky would be great for him and the school, and I'd pull for him to succeed. Much more than with the cocksucker they've got roaming the sidelines now.

Houston Nutt to Arkansas

1. He loves that helmet
2. One Hearbeat, they have it.
3. They love to have fun, spelled W-I-N
4. Arkansas man
5. He called that play, brotha.

Not sure about the whole history with Nutt/Gus/Broyles, but I didn't think Malzahn left on good terms with anyone except a small portion of the fanbase. Arky fans, please clarify.

Nutt and Broyles are no longer here.

Gus is on "good terms" with all the important people in the state.

Malzahn isn't turning down any HC jobs to stay at Auburn.

He turned down four of them last year...

That still makes him 5 times as reliable as Jimmy Hyams.

Good. That would be awesome for him to be able to go back home as an HC.

Not every job in the SEC works out towards Gus' career goals.

He turned down one BCS job...

Don't laugh at them yet. There are going to be tons of these rumors.

That's why I told everyone to not laugh at the piggies just yet.

There will be rumors that Bill clinton will coach at UF before it's all said and done.

"going to be" = "going to be first on their list" maybe? doesn't mean he'll take it.

if this happens, i'm getting myself a self-imposed perma-ban for christmas.

Arkansas has a long standing policy of not hiring assistants for head coaching vacancies.

Gus did receive an interview before we hired Petrino...

I would not stand under tall buildings or bridges in Arkansas...

Chiz, Mullen or BP would set UF up to continue to role IMO.

Chiz: No way. He is a joke of a coach and just happened to find the best player to play college football this year. Without Cam, Auburn is 7-5 this year. Zook part 2

Mullen: Would be a decent hire and would keep Florida in the mix but they wouldnt be the top team they have been. He brings no flare or swagga and would cost UF in recruiting eventually. He comes across as a Dudley Do Right country bumpkin. The program would be clean but not dominate.

Petrino: The best choice of the three for sure. He would recruit offensive players well and keep Florida in the top tier of the SEC, unlike the other two.
