Hahahahahahaha, this would be fricking great.

Why, besides the obvious meltdown? We would more than likely just hire the brains behind your operation to be our new head coach which would be a problem for Auburn.

Arkansas has a long standing policy of not hiring assistants for head coaching vacancies.

No offense, but in view of your success relative to the last 30 years, maybe Arky should revisit that philosphy.

Malzahn would be welcomed back with open arms and would most assuredly be Jeff Long's first phone call.

If Mahlzan went to Ark., Auburn can kiss Keihl Frazier goodbye!

Petrino: The best choice of the three (Petrino, Mullen, Chizik) for sure. He would recruit offensive players well and keep Florida in the top tier of the SEC, unlike the other two.

Also the most likely to get Florida the death penalty. Chizik? Nah, Auburn did whatever it did without his involvement.

For sure. It would suck, but Malzahn has been everything Coach Chizik had hoped since he hired him. I'll gladly wish him well on possibly getting his dream job, and trust Coach Chizik to knock the next OC hire out of the park as well.

There will be rumors that Bill clinton will coach at UF before it's all said and done.

I remember our coaching search all too well. Butch Davis was a done deal.

If FL were to call, would Bobby P go?

One thing is for sure, If he publicly turns down FL then I can see him staying at Arkansas for a long time.

FL, LSU, Bama, TX, USCa, OU, and maybe OSU are the only much better jobs than the one he currently has. Everything else is either only slightly better or worse.

because he's done such a good job of hiring assistants at Iowa State and the DC at Auburn? Glad you have the faith.

Has he already been called or he is next on the list? What does OP mean by "it's going to be Petrino"?

Great he beats Les 2 out of 3 years with Arky's inferior talent. With better talent at Florida he will be Spurrier like vs LSU

He does seem to have a knack for finding the right people to pay for a job well done...

Didnt say he was. Said he comes across as. Dont get me wrong, I think he is a great coach was blasted for saying that before the season started. (search and see!) BUT I dont see big time recruits being sold on him. Too much of a Opie Taylor vibe.
