BK is really in his head; he thinks a BK insider will help him beat LSU now

I will say it's an interesting hire and not someone I thought he'd turn to after Grubbs.

Bama talent is good enough for 10-11 wins alone but is this dude gonna be the difference for 12+?

No clue.

Hope we return to smash mouth football though.

Throwing it 50 times a game is not my idea of a good time.

It won Saban half of his titles at Alabama. It should be.

Maybe that’s it because it seems like a mediocre hire to me.

It's all part of the plan. BK is playing him like a fiddle.

That’s false. Since moving to more of a spread based offense in 2014, Alabama has averaged:

32 passing attempts per game in 2014
29 passing attempts per game in 2015
28 passing attempts per game in 2016
24 passing attempts per game in 2017
29 passing attempts per game in 2018
31 passing attempts per game in 2019
33 passing attempts per game in 2020
38 passing attempts per game in 2021
34 passing attempts per game in 2022

Saban wants the LSU offense. He knows what he can’t defend.

That requires a tuck and run QB. I think all his guys can actually read defenses and go through progressions.

Not going to really spin this one with the money Bama has and pedigree this is a shitty hire lol. I have no idea what Saban is thinking here but what do we know. Probably not a good sign for Bama everyone is telling them no. Saban has to have one foot out the door at some point.

That's how you rationalize hiring Tommy Rees I suppose

Why would LSU fans feel that way? We'd actually be thanking you. You're downgrading from BOB with him anyway so the idea doesn't even really make sense for Saban. You better be more worried asking yourself why he's the hire when you're consistently getting turned down to settle for a guy who was close to being fired.

If you wanted BK's sloppy seconds should've at least went after one who has some success in Denbrock.

Bama Boys just paid big money for a Kelly disciple….it’s a glorious day.

I mean his offense did rank 60th last year.
