The OM faithful in Mississippi seems to think Weiss has only signed an offer sheet and that he will stay at Ole Miss after the playoffs.

Is it confirmed he’s under contract with LSU?

Don't care. Go if he doesn't want to be here. CLK will find someone no problem.

That being said the OM insiders haven't exactly been doing too well with their thinking.

You’re talking about a fan base in Ole Miss that is looking for literally ANY win.

I don't think so

we have people who said Weiss put an offer in a home in BR

I doubt Weiss wants to work for a guy who have never been a HC over Lane Kiffin at LSU for more money!!

No chance does Jr want to attach himself to that sinking Ole Miss ship when he has a job lined up at LSU

I honestly don’t care if Weiss comes to BR.

He's under three-year contract with a huge buyout if he leaves prior to March 2026. The contract was constructed in order to avert the concept of him staying at OM. There was a thread on TD that discussed the contract metics.

If does stay at Ole Miss, not a problem, CLK is the offensive system, not Weiss jr, when Tulane pulls the upset, they gonna run him right back to BR

If he stays, LSU will make a lot of money on the deal. I seem to recall that the buyout was over $5 Million.

If he was not following Lane to LSU, we'd have info about Lane's next target. We haven't heard an ounce of that, so I suspect this is nothing more than Rebel bias saying a prayer that they can keep a semblance of what they've had on offense moving forward.

Ole miss is a sinking ship. No reason for him to go back there unless they want him to be HC.

They are hanging onto whatever glimmer of hope they can that they will have some resemblance of Kiffin's offense next year. LSU allowing Weis to coach has given them that. When he returns to LSU, they will say they never wanted him and it was Golding's offense the whole time. Dont bother trying to understand their mental gymnastics Kiffin has put them into.

We would be fine without Weis. He's nothing special. It's Lanes offense

Not only will he not stay at OM, but he will also bring some guys with him once they lose in the playoffs.
