The AD and HC ordeal at South Carolina just keeps getting worse

I don't even know what to make of this mess at this point.


1. Word is leaked a few days ago that our Board of Trustees has flown in at least 2 candidates to replace Tanner as AD. They wanted to "gauge the interest" of the two individuals in the AD position. This was done completely and totally behind Tanner's back while the BoTs and Caslen very vocally proclaimed they were 100% behind Ray Tanner remaining in the position of AD. Someone leaked the info to the press and Tanner found out about it at the same time and thru the same social media outlets as the rest of us.

2. This evening word was leaked that Tanner had contacted FSU concerning what they did to cover Taggart's buyout on such short notice and to what extreme private donors were involved and how they managed to "encourage" said donors to cough up the money. Caslen indictated that he was aware that Tanner had done this. Meanwhile, Tanner had been EXTREMELY vocal and persistent that he would basically remain steadfast and would not be swayed concerning his absolute and continued support of Muschamp. Basically he had seemingly and permanently hitched his wagon to the Muschamp ship and would go down with it before admitting he'd made a mistake by hiring him and further, by extending his contract which led to the ridiculous buyout amount. Muschamp discovered the betrayal by Tanner at the same time and thru the same social media sites as the rest of us.

3. The University just issued a statement within the past 45 minutes that they deny that Tanner had any contact with FSU and certainly did not contact them regarding any sort of buyout information leading everyone to wonder if Caslen lied or Tanner lied or the University is lying or..most likely scenario..they are all a bunch of bumbling, retarded, mindfricked headcases who are incapable of discretion or the ability to communicate on the most basic of levels.


There's no excuse for this gargantuan clusterfrick of an implosion. How these ppl don't or can't or are unwilling to grasp the urgency and necessity of discretion, now more than ever, is beyond me.

We need a nickname for this implosion and the events that are yet to occur and very publicly be displayed for all to see.
