Dellenger pointed out that 500k bonus for being bowl eligible might be a typo I think it should be 50k

But $0 if Woodward isn't AD at the time. Is that standard?

Which SW will inflate to Orgeron buyout level if and when his deal is restructured following any championship win

Looks like Woodward wanted to tie his job to the contract. Get rid of me and BK can leave with no buyout. Smart move.

Read it closer. 90% of base ($400k/year) and remaining balance of supplemental compensation for the term (big numbers). Basically the balance on $3.2 mil in base plus the balance on ~$9 mil for the season.

Naw…it’s 90% of the rest of the contract

It’s effectively a fully-guaranteed 10-year contract, save 10%

His buyout today is 90% of $95m

It is not standard, and interesting indeed. Kelly basically saying if Woodward isn’t the AD, I want to be able to get out for free.

It’s not Woodward inserting himself into the contract (as surmised above), it’s Kelly asserting that he’s coming to work for/with Scott Woodward and if for some reason that changes I have the option to walk away without penalty.

Does this mean technically if Kelly were to retire in 5 years he would owe LSU $2 million?

That is also under the “without cause” terms.
