Actually he has. Last year they were co champs and Coastal did everything they could to not pmay the game. They will win it this year imo.

And I said who cares about a conference championship if you lose 3 games and have a losing record every other season like kiffin did.

Why can't you acknowledge that napiers record and ull is much better than kiffs was at fau?

Pretty sure 38-12 is better than 26-13. Especially since in the last 3 years nap is 31-5 and 20-2 in last two.

You are wasting your time talking to the Adam Banks...that dude is going to walk into traffic if Napier is hired.

This is dumb. Napier is way more qualified than Orgeron ever was.

I mean I get not wanting napier over Riley or jimbo or fickel or even aranda.

But I'll be honest, first 3 are out and imo aranda is going to usc to go home and go to his dream school. That's just my opinion.

At that point....there are not a lot of options left. No offense against sfp but he is typical of those that are swayed by kiffin. Kiffin has had mutiple chances and always shows the same thing, extreme inconsistencies. Over and over again.

No way do I want him over napier and I sure as frick don't want mark fricking stoops over napier.

And If you go look, who are the go coaches that do well....it's the following

1) spent time at championship caliber program and were known as big time recruiter

2) built the program themselves i.e. Brian Kelly, not butch Jones

3) they are patient on which p5 job to take. The ones that fail go to these shite p5 programs and usually have a good year or 2 but eventually they go back to being shite.

The biggest thing though.....are they a recruiter.

Napier is all of those things.

Just how much "assembling" did he actually do? I wonder. If he is such a good "assembler" what happened in 2020 and this year? Did he forget how to be a championship-winning coach? He is a loser.

Coaching at USL is not the same as coaching SEC football. For all those "Napier Nuts" and their sunshine faces, I think we could end up with Hallman 2.0.

More skins how?

1. Actually a successful offensive coordinator and an elite offensive mind (with production on the field)

2. Great at recruiting at all of his CFB stops

#1 is correct, and he runs the program like an oc pretending to be a hc. No attention to details.

#2 that I quoted above is wrong. He actually is a very lazy recruiter and has not been great without Ed. Stories coming out left and right from Mississippi hs coaches about how he doesn't care a out anyone or anything but himself.

And why do skins matter if he sucks as a hc. You literally can not show me where he has put together back to back good seasons. None. In 3 stops as ill leave UT out of it. Zero zilch.

Skins don't matter if you can't show consistency as a hc.

The problem is, the people that supported O in 2016 are never going to admit that now.

Napier would be a huge risk and Woody would not have done a very good job if he gets down to him.

A school who had each of its last three head coaches win national championships in the last 18 years and has the recruiting base that we have shouldn’t have to hire a guy who never even competed at the power five level.

Seems on the same lines of “one of us” simply because he’s already in LA right down the road.

This is one of the dumbest takes I've seen on this sight. The people who talk about other people liking Napier cuz he coaches in Lafayette are on the same intelligence level as O lovers. It's that bad a take. I've seen maybe a handfful of people on this sight or in irl who would take Napier with their 1st choice. Yet the Napier haters spin this bull shite narrative, that there's this movement of fans that want him over everybody because he coaches at ULL. Theres a reason why Florida wants him. There's a reason why he's talked about throughout CFL as a young up comer. It's because he's a great proven head coach.

That’s a big false.

My wants are:

-Riley
-Surprise name that has gotten much talk like a Cristobal
-Aranda
-Napier

In that order. Napier can actually coach just hasn’t had the chance to prove it. It could go south though there is that possibility.

O never could coach. He was a glorified cheerleader

That's not how it works. Sure we could go offer 10 million to mark stoops but is he worth that?

Name me someone other than jimbo that left a big program to go to another?

It's like some of yall think every coach just wants to be at lsu or Florida or wherever when history says otherwise.

Some of you are dumb as frick too.

I tend to disagree. Orgeron as a terrible hire at the time. Syracuse didn’t even want him.

Napier has real promise. He is a gamble and while I would prefer a proven coach at the major level he could be great at LSU
