T/F: those hoping for a Napier hire were the same ones that wanted Orgeron in 2016

Seems on the same lines of “one of us” simply because he’s already in LA right down the road.

I did not want Orgeron in any capacity at LSU. Would love Napier as HC for LSU!

He will be a homerun somewhere. Hope it is for LSU.

Napier is as much one of us as Aranda is. Argument is stupid.

I say false. That’s the connection made by people who think both guys are too small for this job. The two have nothing in common

You realize he’s not from Louisiana, right?

I think that's just a line made up from the anti Napier crowd. Napier wouldn't be at the top of my list, but I do think he's is a very good coach.

If we get down to the level of Stoops, then I think it may be worth it to give Napier a very serious look. I don't want him over the likes of Riley, Aranda though.

No shite, it’s more about him being right down the road in Lafayette.

No one who was thinking clearly wanted Ed Orgeron. No one. He is unfit to be a head coach anywhere including high school.

False. At least the ones who want Napier are basing it off of his coaching abilities.

No. Napier knows how to build a program the shrimp boat captain didn’t have a clue how to keep it a float. He did have enough common sense to tack advantage of a situation and a horrible AD. Then a gift fell into his lap as Burrow needed a place to show his talents. Shrimp boat basically won the mega millions.

F

I was as anti 0 as they come in 2016 and melted hard

Napier isn't my first choice but I think he's a decent fallback option

Your post AND this “one of us” notion are both ridiculous. Dude grew up in Tennessee and Georgia. Do your research or post less

I feel like Aranda wouldn’t be getting this much pub if he didn’t coordinate at LSU.

Napier wouldn’t get the pub either. He’s a a good coach, but his offense is built around the run game.

Both Baylor and UL don’t throw the ball well. You need to throw in order to win this conference.
