You guys are ridiculous. JOE BURROW was the reason for the offense. GTFO if you don’t agree with that.
Brady deserves credit for that.
And I dont think rhule would be hired Brady if he wasn't good. I trust his opinion.

Kirby and several other defensive coaches said LSU wasn't doing anything "special" scheme wise, they just had elite talent.
Bull…there were several scoring plays that were elite and called at perfect times

And Ensminger proved it was all him with his 15 prior years of bad offenses and the 1 following 2019
As soon as Miles was fired and ensminger took over as coordinated, our average points per game doubled and we started setting school records. Even last season, offense was not the problem. Our offense was pretty good. With mostly the same players that we have now, he had three first time starting quarterbacks, two of which were a true freshman, that Each had 40+ point games and one of them had 50+ point game. I’d say that is better than decent. Our defense was terrible.

No doubt.
And I pointed out that your numbers include "garbage time" and posted the numbers outside of "garbage time."
Try to keep up, LE.

To what 15 years are you referring. He wasn’t at LSU in any capacity 15 years ago and wasn’t our OC until 2018.
In the latter third of that year, Joe Burrow began to put up Joe Burrow numbers, this without being coached up by Brady.
Moreover, the 2019 offense wasn’t bad.
I’m not saying Brady is a bad coach, but maybe he isn’t the end all everyone thought he was and maybe Steve deserves more credit than he is given.

Those numbers are including quarterback knees and LSU pounding the ball late in blowouts which almost exclusively came from single back and I formation sets.
The percentages outside of "garbage time" are somewhere between 75% and 80%, depending on which stat service you believe.
You’re arguing that 50% of our under center plays we’re QB knees.
You’re arguing that the different between 33% and like 15% is QB Kneels
And I’ll admit we definitely went o more shotgun later in the season, so the % early in the season was likely higher than 33%

From 2018 to 2019
-RPO doubled from 11% to 22%
- shotgun from 67% to 96%
- FB from 22% to .6% of plays
- 6+ man protections over 300 plays to 89 in 2019
These aren’t small tweaks or players just “maturing”

He did take over for Art Shell and the team was terrible, but point taken.

For it his Ensminger's prior career to which I refer. Hereto, he wasn't secretly behind 2019.

You have a statistic that 15% of our plus were garbage time runs/QB knees? Statistically that’s what you’re arguing.

Outside of 2019, Brady hasn’t been spectacular either.
Ever consider that Burrow was the reason for the season?
Brady was fired because of the product he put on the field. Regardless of injuries, great coordinators have the ability to adjust their play calling and scheme to their strengths.
Again I’m not saying Brady is a bad a coordinator, but he may not be the star a lot of us thought he was. Likewise, Enzminger probably deserves more credit than you are willing to give him.

The coach being disrespected is Coach E.
That being said it was the players that made 2019 special

Did you watch the games? We’re Alabama and Arkansas not at the end of the year? He threw 1 TD against the 86th scoring defense in the country and 0 against Alabama in November.
What’s more likely: Joe made an enormous jump in ability OR UCF was a G5 team full of future high school coaches and insurance salesmen and we threw bombs to A future pro bowler all game?

God you people are dumb.
Yes, we do want Brady back. He knows how to use talent. Saban couldn’t figure out his playcalling. Put many touchdowns on the Gumps.
Want.

“When Ensminger took over play-calling duties in 2016 for the Tigers, LSU’s offense had been stagnant, scoring only nine touchdowns and averaging 18 points and 339.5 total yards per game through four games. In eight games under Ensminger that year, LSU improved drastically in every offensive category as the Tigers averaged 32 points and 464.9 total yards per contest during that span. LSU scored 38 or more points five times under Ensminger, including 54 in a win over Texas A&M and 38 against both Arkansas and Ole Miss. The Tigers averaged 7.1 yards per play and converted 46-of-102 third-down opportunities during that eight-game stretch.
Also under Ensminger, LSU’s 2016 offense set then school records for yards in a SEC game (634 vs. Missouri), single-game rushing yards by an individual (284 by Leonard Fournette vs. Ole Miss, 285 by Derrius Guice vs. Texas A&M), longest run from scrimmage (96 yards by Derrius Guice vs. Arkansas) and time of possession (42:33 vs. Missouri)”.[quote]
