It’s entirely possible/likely that you’re bored and enjoy toying with us, or that your source just isn’t fully clued-in, or we’re being purposefully mislead for other reasons.
However, if this is true, then I desperately hope Riley says yes. And I suspect he won’t/wouldn’t.

Exactly, Kiffin and Aranda not being involved is kind of ridiculous, even if you think they're fall out candidates. Personally I dont see how Napier is in but those 2 are out, and I could say Franklin doesn't impress enough for me to say hes better than Kiffin. I get they want to involve a minority coach, but Mel Tucker might be a better minority candidate than Franklin as his ceiling is quite unknown like Napier. Franklin is a fairly proven commodity and you'll get what you pretty much see at Penn St. right now.

That sounds pretty good, except OU only plays 3-4 ranked teams and they tend to be in the #15 to the #25 range. Either he's not beating those ranked teams as consistently as he should or he's losing some games here and there to unranked teams.
That doesn't sound real promising in the SEC. LSU typically plays 6 or more ranked teams. If you double the number of tough games, is he going to average 3 losses a year? He's gonna have to do better than that.
I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.

I don't see how that follows at all. Napier is nearly as respected in the biz as Fickell. I really don't understand why you all hate him so much. I don't really buy OP's source (though I also don't know who "Dohn" is and google doesn't help), but him being the first "not white whale" option makes complete sense.
