So, a local radio personality walks into the office with a binder.....

There will be quite a few big job openings in the next couple of weeks. How many ADs and BOS' will be won over by a spiral binder from Kinkos that a local radio host put together? Not trying to flame or troll. I'm honestly curious how many other coaches use this tactic. And if they weren't planning on it, will they now since it worked for O? And will a local radio guy and former recruiting junkie go from morning show to a plush office in the OPs Center?

Hundreds, if not thousands, of people are hired every day in this country into positions they may not be qualified for because they a) know how to work the connections they have and/or b) are able to effectively present their thoughts or ideas.
I may not trust the guy to run a chair rental stand at the beach but I applaud him for taking his shot and making it count.

Because it's literally the thing Alleva said they were impressed with. O and Ponamsky turned in a high school book report and got a top 10 college football job before they even interviewed anyone else. That binder has to be a big deal right?

The local radio host may have put the binder together but I doubt that he put any of the meat in it... Use your head instead of your arse.

I have my binder ready for when the AD job opens up.

I have never seen so many people so jealous of someone. So the guy was a radio host, and he saw an opportunity to jump on board O's staff, do some work for him, and it results in a career move that paid off.
So the frick what?
So Ponamsky was supposed to just stay a trained monkey behind a radio mic all the rest of his days?
Would he be less of a joke to you if he didn't make a binder, and didn't make any sort of difference at all, and just shuffled back to the radio booth?
Jealousy is an ugly, and, sadly, a typical look for our fanbase.
I don't know Ponamsky. If he was hit by a bus tomorrow, I wouldn't be at his funeral. I couldn't give two shits about his binder. Many of you shouldn't, either.

No, it's the fact that a guy like that played such an integral part in a coaching hire of the school I attended, donate to regularly and currently hold 8 seasons tickets. It's one of the most "Louisiana" things I've ever seen done in my lifetime.

Anyone given any thought to the idea that Coach O gave EVERYONE different binders when he got into work Monday? Ponamsky's name is on the binder pictured because it details what Orgeron wants him to do to make LSU football great again. Just like Dave Aranda has his own binder detailing what Orgeron wants him to do, and Dameyune Craig, Austin Thomas, Jeff Grimes, etc.
