That’s not true. It was pledged before Landry got involved.

You don't accumulate "big booster money" by parting with it so easily.

No, they are not obsessed, but if they are high profile they can make similar kind of money at other programs and without the drama at LSU.

I completely agree with this. The entire college football world knows Kelly is a gigantic piece of shite and the university would never do this to someone they have an ounce of respect for

Which is exactly why I supported Woodward being let go….just not in the way it transpired.

Bro

Little lying Landry laid down the new rules

We want accountability

The top guys don’t want dat. Dey already have accounted for their high salaries and buyouts. Dey not climbing the ladder.

Time to buckler down

Tennessee went through this and still got Heupel.

Heupel has been a great hire, but at the time nobody thought he was an A list hire, not our opponents, not our fans.

The attitude around Knoxville was “Well, at least we will score some points.”

Yeah its my feeling, worse case scenario for me is Golesh. (Similar to UT hiring Heupel at time) And I think highly of him

Trust me, after watching Pruitt struggle for years to score 21, a guy like Heupel/Golesh is a more enjoyable experience, even if you lose.

Because the attorneys employed by LSU think they have a case that would save them 20 mil.

They do not. Barring anything from out of the blue, there is nothing morality wise, Kelly did to cause damage to LSU's brand/image. If the man had an affair, they have to prove the affair existed prove it damaged LSU's image. They will not be able to do this, but for shits and giggles lets assume they do.

Kelly's lawyer will then present the numerous publicly available documents and correspondence concerning Les Miles' conduct with student workers and ask the very valid question, why did we not firs Miles for cause and why did we continue to allow him to coach. They will then drop subpoena on LSU for all documents related to this which are not publicly known. All of this will be in the public arena as we attempt to convince a new HC to come here,

The worst thing possible LSU could do in this shite show is to die on the mountain of an extramarital affair being grounds for a moral clause.

I love how the paranoid LSU fans think anyone outside of LSU gives a shite about what’s going on with the governor or with Kelly’s contract buyout. Yes it’s on national TV but coaching candidates will have forgotten about it so quick it doesn’t even matter.
You think if they offer someone $16 million a year they’re gonna worry that the governor got involved to fire a bad head coach. Just like less miles used to say, if they don’t have the chest for it, then I don’t want them as next head coach

Heupel has a lower winning % at Tennessee than Kelly at LSU. He’d be run out of town too.

His days in big louisiana politics are over if this hire ends in an unsavory fashion. I wouldn't vote for the dude again. The dude must have to pay someone to remove president trump's ball hair from his chin every morning. It's ridiculous how much he name drops trump

Why is this Shitshow for an incoming coach?

It wouldn’t be a stretch to say a possible candidate might at least think about the possibility that things might not work out for them at LSU, they get fired and then have to fight to get their buyout that they are contractually owed. Who wants to have to fight to get what they are owed?

"Sylvester and the Kardell's" sponsored by "Kelly & Woodward Entertainment Management Inc." S & K is the primary dysfunctional shiteshow of the entire football decline. If you would have fired the OL Coach and brought in 5 very good OL's from the Transfer Portal after last season, there's a chance you save this season. NONE OF THAT happened though. Woodward protects Davis and Kelly only signs 2 OL's from the TP. Game, Set and Match right there for Kelly & Woodward Entertainment Management Inc. Farewell & Adieu.
