I'm thinking 8.

Remember, all Crowton needs to be successful is a Senior QB...at least that is what I have been hearing on the Rant since 2007

Pretty much only one direction to go after 2009.

Go for it.

Like they always say. Shoot for the stars if you miss you might at least hit the moon.

well then frick how about this....We hire emmett brown as some type of consultant, as soon as freshmen qbs show up on campus, we shove them in the delorean, fast forward 4 years, and then BOOOOOOM we're unstoppable forever.

You tell me what should happen

shitty qbs aside doesn't explain the dude's horrible playcalling when we do actually have our shite in gear.

I think there is more to the story as well.

But, having said that, how many games did we have above average (forget good) QB play? Maybe once against Bama?

I can guarantee you the playcalling was significantly affected by the QBs we had. The real question is whether or not Crowton the cause of our QB play. If Miles thinks the answer is no, then he might think landing a QB like Mettenberger solves most of the problems we are having.

How pissed will you be if Les bring crowton back?

if your offense is ranked in the 100s for the 2nd year in a row and your starting qb threw 4 TD passes....just how in the frick can you pass that off as acceptable numbers?

10, as in 10 and 2 bitch. Quit complaining and be happy with your 100 ranked offense that just keeps winning. We'll throw six touchdowns next year on our way to the MNC and will bump this thread to laugh at you.

It would definitely be a 10, but I think a lot of posters need to realize the regular season just ended last week, there will be other coaching jobs open up & even Crowton probably realizes he has almost no support here to continue as OC, and can read the writing on the wall. Let's see what happens over the next few months--hopefully, things will change & Crowton will have a position lined up elsewhere outside of Louisiana.

To put that in perspective, Josh Nesbitt threw for 7 TDs this year, and only had 39 completions all season (6.4 ypa)

JJ had 4 TDs and 9 INTs on 108 completions (6.6ypa)
