How pissed will you be if Les bring crowton back?
I'm not even sure I can put a number on it

I almost want him to do just to see Choctaw and the boys explain it as another good smart move by Les.

if your offense is ranked in the 100s for the 2nd year in a row and your starting qb threw 4 TD passes....just how in the frick can you pass that off as acceptable numbers?

I would make a change at OC, but I'll play Devis's Advocate.
Miles may truly believe that the issues over the last 2 years have been the personnel at QB...and may actually believe that a guy like Mettenberger would open up some of the things in the passing game that we haven't been able to do since 2007.

maybe it's a gift in disguise
a subpar year in 2011, when we basically have 17 returning starters (9 on offense), will get them BOTH fired
so Les is clearly hanging his hat on Crowton for his own job...he probably knows we have the numbers back to contend for the Title and figures a new OC would take a year to fix issues...he knows he doesn't have a year of grace left so he's riding it out with Crowton hoping he can come back next year and say "I told you so"

shitty qbs aside doesn't explain the dude's horrible playcalling when we do actually have our shite in gear.

10.... offense ranked in the hundreds for 2 straight year = fail
Crouton must go

I'm a pro-Miles guy but I'd be stunned and pissed. It's hard to rationalized keeping Crowton.

I'd be a little disappointed, but I don't know that "pissed" is the right word for how I would personally feel.
I think this offense could have success under Crowton if they would find their identity and go with it, but I am to the point where I would prefer a fresh new start on that side of the ball.
But, to your original question, I'll go with 3. Not too pissed, but disappointed. It's not up to me, though, so I can't get too frustrated with it. I'm sure Miles will make the best decision in his mind for the future of the program...that decision might be the wrong one, but I'm absolutely certain Miles wants to win more than me or any other fan, so I've gotta trust in whatever he decides I guess.

Probably a six. Have said all year long I expected Crowton to return unless he seeks alternative employment.

I would be about an 8.
It really is hard to watch, I am as pro Miles as most, but there is Zero excuse forma laughing stock offense.
