The candidates who made the first cut will be told by the end of this week, and a second round will be conducted.

Yep. The man could always surprise you. So long as you were not a moron engaging in group grabass.

Bump… Salt is IN at Franklinton… hell of a commute if he isn’t moving to the Northshore

Which is why todays generation is full of pansies that expect to be coddled rather than molded into real men who can overcome adversity

Was never the point of my statement. I'm just relaying what happened. He had been pretty combative with the administration as it was and that didn't help.

Don’t cry for Salt. He did this to himself. He failed every kid on that HC team and I have lost complete respect for him as a man. He went on a weeks long tirade just dogging the kids leading up to the St. Paul’s game. Then after they lost that game he went on another rant about how worthless they all were before he dismissed them for the season. It was something he could get away with 20 years ago but not in today’s world.
20 years ago Salt was with the good guys and me and my classmates would have listened to that rant… and had he stayed he would have had the same principal and same AD for those 20…
Not that I blame him for leaving after Katrina… no one knew what they’d come back to and he has had a hall of fame career.

I have no clue what type of talent HC has returning as whoever the new coach will be needs the horses going forward. I hope he can get it done!

Giglio? Roule?
Yep, plus two others.
ETA: HC is wanting to name the coach this Friday, 1/13/23.
ETA: Saltaformaggio is new head coach at Franklinton.

I see Giglio is a co-defensive co from Brother Martin and Roule is a co-defensive co from Jesuit. And they have 2 other coaches Holy Cross is looking at. Hope the choice works out for them.
