Holy Moly ain't what it used to be. declining attendance etc. nice campus tho.

Its like the big eastbank schools get bigger--Jesuits, Bowel Martin and Scummel. then there is Curtis which allows pretty much anyone to come play of they have talent. grades be damned. Manale could build a juggernaut, but the kids still need to make the cut at the Jesuits. talent or not.

Junior year, Coach Eumont was my head coach and Salt my position coach. Great respect for both.

Jesuit and BM reject lists are at all time low and it's been a trend. Rummel enrollment is down. The demographic that sends their kids to catholic schools is shrinking, especially in NOLA

HC had 41 individuals put in for the head coaching job. This was whittled down to 12 and then to the final 3. Interviews are taking place with the final 3.

I know two of the three names but do not feel it would be appropriate to post their names. The two I am aware of have ties to HC.

I knew I'd regret filling the application out in all caps

Which is interesting because Robert was the principal when Salt attended HC. BTW - while Salt has been very succesful as a high school head coach, he never played football in high school or college. He was a wrestler in high school.

LOL one of the three is a surprise. I wish I knew you IRL because it's interesting to say the least.

would an Owls fan know much about him?

Because honestly I wouldn’t know whether there’s any interest there between HC and McNamara. I threw his name out as a joke but he does fit a description of HC man and has been a longtime assistant over the best part of our team. He also would be a heck of an add to the HC wrestling program. He’s led us to being one of the top public schools in wrestling in the state, with great numbers in the program.

Digging up the corpse of ole Coach Kalbacher...he'll stop all that gawddamned group grabass the players have been engaging in....take them out to the levee and have the team run up and down it until they all puke at least once

Well Jason Tucker has given like 15 wins to Holy Cross over the years. I guess you could call him a “HC man”

Kyle Walker’s dad was a former HC head coach in the early 90s (but is now a top Chalmette assistant and maybe the next AD). He was a QB at Hannan when his dad coached there, but I would have thought HC would have better candidates than him

If those candy asses couldn't handle Salt, no way they could handle Kalbacher.

Was in the HC teachers lounge once, and Kahlbacher started to recite Keats. He stopped, smiled and walked out. Guy was a freaking legend.
