Sounds like something his agent put out to get him a new contract at Ohio St.

Would be an incredible match. A&M gets to "steal" a big name coach from a bigger program. And Day gets to lose a few big games every season with little consequence.

Agents are understandably feasting on the buyout we paid and any sense of desperation to re up their clients. Perhaps there’s a big name that’s actually interested and I think we would rally the money if so, but this one obviously not.

Do you think he gets a new contract before Ohio State sees what happens in the Michigan game? Day is a great young coach but if he loses to Michigan again this season next season could be his last in Columbus.
