I wouldn't mind if we moved Lolley back to an admin role, put Thig at LB's, Stoops have the DB's, then bring in someone to coach DE's and let Pelton focus on DT's.

Eliot would make a move IMO. He is young and Odell Haggins runs the defensive line duties. Eliot may want more responsibility. The arrival of Stoops coincides with the arrival of Greg Hudson so I really don't know who gets the most credit. If Stoops does go to Auburn, the secondary should improve.

I think he goes. There has been talk of him and Jimbo not really meshing. Not that there is a problem, some people just work better together than others. It seems to me on the surface that if he feels it's a better fit after interviewing, he would go. They are actually very similar jobs in the aspect that he could run his defense and have good position coaches that seem to be ace recruiters. Dawsey and Haggins are the recruiters for guys like Goldman, Fowler and Edwards. I'm sure Trooper and others did the same over Roof at Auburn, except Roof sucks compared to Stoops or Hudson.
