Thats exactly what Davis said. Keep in mind he's a Bama homer. Saban laid it on the line.

Alabama and Tejas are both bigger jobs than LSU.

Name them then. You could say Bama, but if DeBoer is unable to keep winning like Nick, then it is the same level as LSU.

Does LSU not give as much resources to the football program as anyone else. We are getting dragged for paying BK too much, LSU's facilities are as good as any other program and NIL $ is a big reason Lane is considering LSU.

Then why would he say it like that if he wasn’t referring to wanting Lane to just stay put at Ole Miss and not go to LSU?

Why would he even bring that up?

Georgia isn't a bigger job than LSU. They finally have a great coach. They didn't have shite before him. Remember "1980"?

Anyone with drive and a 90+ IQ can win a natty at LSU. LSU's program makes the coach, whereas at UGA and Bama the coach makes the programs.

Reece is a Bama alum. Kiffin at LSU is his worst nightmare.

Because he is a sports commentator and it’s his job to bring up other possibilities. It is a reasonable possibility that he could stay and another high profile job could open in the next two years.

UGA will be playing in their13th SECCG on Saturday. LSU has played in 6. Over double the amount of appearances.

UGA is historically superior to LSU in every measurable except a couple.

LSU is a step below.
