Petrino lead Missouri State to 27.4 ppg this year, 7th in the Missouri Valley Conference.

There is no way this works out well. None.

At least Jimbo would know who's banging his wife.

And Jimbo wouldn't run Bobby off the road for doing it.

Seems like a win-win to me.

Jimbo’s on a mission to assemble the most unlikeable coaching staff of all time.

Aggies are use to wearing leather and getting spanked.

Exactly. Petrino is from the same era as Jimbo, outdated and rigid. Jimbo would literally be replacing himself with himself.

Petrino’s QB who is the same age as Stetson Bennet won a Heisman.

Get out of here with that nonsense.

Those two hot heads fighting over playcalling would be great theater

Since 2017, Petrino’s teams have averaged the following ppg:

2018-19.8(fired)
2019-unemployed
2020-14.7
2021-34.3
2022-27.4

So yea, pretty obvious it’s changed for a bum like Petrino

Petrino ran completely different offenses at Arkansas and Louisville, and that was only about 3 years apart. Say what you will about the guy off the field, but if Jimbo really does hire him and get out of his way, it could work out great for both of them.

I don't think Jimbo is capable of getting out of anyone's way. He'd meddle if he had Andy Reid or Kyle Shanahan calling plays.

I think if they can work together, it’s an unreal hire. That guy knows offense.

I just do not see that as a dynamic that could work. If he's not in the booth, I could honestly see he and Jimbo coming to blows on the sideline. Naturally, I really want to see it.
