David Cutcliffe is the only hire that would open the door to Arch. He’s not gonna step down from HC and $1.7 million a year at Duke to be a PGC.

Its not like it is unprecedented. After all this is the bunch that was convinced that Jerry Rice was coming here to be a receivers coach and that Ray Lewis was working at a concession stand in the north end of the Tiger Stadium.

I heard him on the radio some months back. He could not be hired because his quarterback training camp would have been considered impermissible contact with recruits. A time period had to pass. Not sure when the all clear would be.
