Oh I know. I’m mocking the people who try to devalue a top 5-10 coach in America because he hasn’t won a national championship at this level while ignoring a very high winning percentage over a couple of decades.

There have been multiple coaches who lucked into a national championship and shown they were not really very good coaches at all. That doesn’t make you a good coach yet you have people who cling to that to discredit a guy who has proven himself to among the nations most consistently successful.

They’re either trolls or just not very smart. I’d wager both.

Orgeron is a fricking moron who just happened to be in the right place at the right time. The HC position could have been vacant with Aranda and Ensminger in charge and that 2019 team still would have gone undefeated and won the NC. Orgeron contributed nothing but hand claps on the sideline.

No body can deny his recruiting ability.

He knows Mississippi too. If Aranda is fired I wonder if he could bring him along?

MSU could do much worse as they have proven.

Y'all are all assuming he wants to coach again. I would bet a lot of money he is absolutely loving being retired. He's got a nicely padded bank account, nothing to worry about besides which beach he is going to run shirtless on each day, and how many times he's going to squeeze his new fiancés fake tits every hour. It was plainly obvious football was not his focus post 2019, and if he wanted to still be coaching, he is way too connected to have gone this long without finding a job. On top of that, he told SI or something like it when they questioned him about the UNLV job rumors that he is actually retired from coaching.
