Looks like most if not all of the position coaches will be coming in early.

Is this lsu saying enough is enough or ole miss saying go, you’re tampering?

Its Ole Miss saying they replaced most if not all those guys and feel confident in the hires. Hard to change the play caller this late.

The question is now how good of a handle do these assistants have in the player rotation because all LSU fans know how bad Frank was at rotating

Pull Weis out of there too unless they agree to drop the stupid tampering thing.

Make sure all playbooks are picked up also

At this point losing the position coaches isn’t a huge deal. If Weis had left that would be more cause for concern. Decent compromise by both sides honestly

There is no tampering suit. Speculation by media is not fact.

good, because there shouldn't be.

either way that is the risk they took when they allowed coaches back.

i think it's best for the position coaches to stay at LSU now.

Title should read LSU RB coach will not return to help coach Ole Miss in CFP semis, he is an LSU coach not Ole Miss coach

I also think there's some truth to the story that Weis told Lane he was seeing out the season with OM or he would walk away from LSU.

Does this mean that Frank will coach in the Playoff game?

At the time, it would have been to just stay at Ole Miss, or take an OC job elsewhere. What the recourse would be today if Lane told him to stay in BR or else - no idea.

I don't see big deal myself, LSU season doesn't start until spring training. They have time to help Old Piss.

Kevin Smith returning to Oxford to Coach per Chris Low.

quote:

Smith told On3 later Saturday that he, too, was committed to staying on in his role as Ole Miss’ running backs coach throughout the playoff.
