It may mean o is coaching the d line so they can open up another coaching spot. If anyone thinks lane at ole miss is stable they arent serious.

Why would LSU hire a defensive position coach while in the middle of DC interviews?

And if O wants Nielsen he wants him to coach DL. O coached him at USC. He hires him at Ole Miss. honestly I can’t believe he didn’t hire him when he got the job.

Lane’s job is very secure. Unless you mean he will leave Ole Miss for another job, which would mean a pay raise for Davis if he follows.
Better than potentially being canned in 12 months if LSU disappoints again
