Yea. This sucks. Davis would have been a slam dunk DL coach hire finally. One that could actually coach and recruit. Seems we’ve always had one or the other lately.

I agree with all of this.
But I was mainly talking to the people who don’t understand why a position coach might get hired before a DC.
Aranda was here for 4 years and was considered to be one of the best DC’s in college football and he got to hire exactly one assistant on his staff.

you know it’s a shitshow when Ole Miss is seen as a better spot than LSU. Jesus Christ. I was finally happy we had an elite DL coach to get the most out of our talent and get us on par with Alabama.

Dude, this isn't true. More than likely it means we didn't have a job for him.

Bruh calm down. There is absolutely zero reason to melt right now.
1) we don’t even know if this is true. Paysites can be wrong too
2) we don’t know who the DC is. Maybe it’s Nielsen and he’ll handle the dline himself
3) we don’t know who else Ed has in mind at DL coach. He’s pretty damn good at it himself.

To be quite honest I hope like hell that it isn’t true that Bo is going to Ole Miss whether we get him or not.
I don’t like the idea of an elite dline recruiter with Louisiana ties being right next door.
It’s not going to be fun battling that guy.
