Just keep doing this every year, pretty soon you'll get it right.

People have been saying this since the day he was hired. XXXX hire will get him fired.

I really think you make him Co-DC.

Co-DC sounds like a bad idea. I'd rather have one commanding officer so to speak. It worked last year with Brady and Ensminger because Ensminger WANTED and welcomed a (de facto) co-OC to handle the load. That was the exception, not the rule. I suspect a guy like Richard isn't interested in sharing the position. He wants to be a DC

Ohio State has multiple coordinators.

You lose one guy, you have another. It’s not a bad approach.

What the hell is Orgeron trying to do, run the program into the ground and get himself fired??

Well, since we don't know 100% what his plans are, kinda hard to say.

I'm so confused by some of you guys reactions haha. So Richard sucks but in nfl as DC he had 3 top 15 defenses. Mind you the last year he dealt with a ton of injuries. He goes to Dallas and gets one year, and it's clear Dallas lack quality secondary players. But y'all are ready to sign Callaway up for OC with no experience besides being an OC at Samford? Lol please tel me whats the real reason you dont want Richard? I can understand if you rather Freeman, but your hate for Richard seems a bit odd.....

The coaching board is all in on Calloway. It’s been an amazing echo chamber experiment.

I hope O doesn’t chop off his own foot here. Our dc has to be a good recruiter as well.

First-year Arkansas defensive coordinator Barry Odom has been mentioned as a candidate at LSU after the firing of Bo Pelini late last month and now, he's being reported by CBS to be one of Steve Sarkisian's top candidates for his defensive coordinator role after the reported "pass" by former South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp.

The Texas job and Odom's connection to it appear to have serious legs and if he is hired by the Longhorn's they'd be making a big jump in payments for his services. Making the 13th highest salary among Power 5 assistants, Odom's salary now is half a million more than Texas was paying Chris Ash. LSU on the other hand was paying Pelini a full million more than Odom.
