I agree. My point was about stupid fans saying stupid things.

Ole Miss is only relevant now because of Lane. They haven’t done anything in a very long time. Reality will set in quickly if he leaves. Some of their fans are way too confident for the program they are.

Wow! I can't believe Mississippi doing just like Louisiana and getting politics involved in the Athletics. Well done Mississippi
It feels like Louisiana hasn't been able to say this for a while, but as the old saying goes - "Thank God for Mississippi".
We are so back!

Politicians need to stay out of hiring coaches' decisions. If I were a big-time coach, I would be wary of going to a school where state politicians are involved.
Good luck - every major program has it

I thought only LA politicians said dumb stuff?

It’s going to be funny when they force him to leave when all they had to do was keep quiet and let him sign the extension after the season.
Giving Lane an ultimatum and seeing him leave will be more comical than what LSU has done the last few weeks.

Thank you Mississippi, Louisiana was getting lonely in the political commentary for a second

You can tell this guy has never gotten the hot girl before. This type of behavior will push Lane the opposite direction.

Kiffin doesn’t seem like the kind of guy that will be ok with an ultimatum.
Watson is a tea party idiot.

but you also want some loyalty and someone who wants to be there forever.
Loyalty went out the window when .700 win percentages get you fired if you miss the playoffs.

Yup. Essentially why I said what I did.

This is Ole Miss version of the Jeb Bush "Please clap".

It always works well when politicians get involved

This board was so convinced Mississippi is way above Louisiana morally and would never stoop to this level
I missed where Ole Miss is withholding payment on the $10 million owed to Kiffin this calendar year and his attorney has entered into litigation. You happen to have a link ?

frick these political hacks and their meddling. He and Jethro Landry should keep their fricking mouths shut.

DeSantis needs to step up his game and get involved.

He was at the game with Florida last night. Took a picture with OM cheerleaders.
