Just listened to the breakdown on this. Apparently Kelly's lawsuit isn't against LSU, its against the state of Louisiana and would have to be remedied by the state legislature. Louisiana currently has 300million tied up in cases they haven't paid and Kelly's lawsuit would fall in this category. There is a possibility that Kelly will never sees that settlement.

Lane to LSU is nothing but a fan/pundit talking point ripe with speculation based on perceived "fit". We have 0 idea who the committee has as their frontrunner. It could be someone nobody is talking about.

I never thought they would go the route of courting or hiring Lane unless Lane came to them wanting the job. If I'm Lane Kiffin, I wanna see how far I can take this thing at Ole Miss first. I think a blowout loss in the 1st rd of the CFP will have a lot to do with whether or not he signs his extension or wants to go elsewhere.

I would also say the same about Lanning. Oregon is not a good football team and their schedule is a complete joke. They needed OT to beat Penn State, got their teeth kicked in by IU and struggled vs Iowa. If they make the CFP, I'd have them on blowout alert in game 1. Bad losses might make these two start second guessing on whether or not they can win titles at their current schools.
I know Mike Scarborough said that Woodward was in the football building everyday. Football is the only sport at LSU where the AD is involved the day to day and not so much basketball or baseball, etc.
I just want people of Alabama to know that your state in other countries is viewed as an incest cousin/brother/sister fricker state. I know people in Germany, Finland, Japan, Australia, Spain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia.

All of them make jokes about the incest going on in Alabama.
When LSU hires a quality football coach, the first thing I'm gonna do is call that AYS sports dude a retard.
All these people need to shut their damn mouths and ONLY speak again when a coach has been hired and are at the introduction presser. SHUT THE HELL UP.

SHUT UP.
SHUT... THE... HELL... UP.

How hard is that? Apparently hard for derpaherps.
This is more COOKED than Riley Reid's kid reaching the 6th grade.
Landry's comments will have 0 effect of landing a quality coach. LSU is still the best open job. Its the only open job where you can throw a dart on a map 20mins in any direction of Tiger Stadium and go talk to 4 and 5 star high school kids.

Jeff Landry doesn't change that.
Everyone says it couldn't work but why couldn't Austin Thomas stay in his role, handle NIL, and work with the coach to identify portal needs? In this case, Saban would just coach up what comes in through the portal and do his normal recruiting he's always done.

Any NIL question could be sent to Austin Thomas, he wouldn't even have to handle all of that nonsense he hates.
LSU got more blown out than Kim Kardashian.

One of the more intriguing match ups to me last season was how he would attack Alabama in that playoff game. He called ridiculous plays during that game when the game was still close. I came away with not being impressed and because that is the only game that mattered to me. You're playing one of the big boys in CFB, you're not expected to win and you had pretty much an entire month to gameplan and scheme for that game and while you were pretty good on offense, enough to move the ball but you weren't going to win that game in the end.

So when Kelly hired him, I went "oh boy."

Fast forward to 6 weeks into this season. He's the architect of an offense that has started slow in every game against a power 5 opponent. He refuses to dial up quick confidence booster throws with a struggling QB in first 15-20 plays that can be scripted. Why isn't Daniels rolling out more? Where are the roll out bootlegs, crossing routes(think Kirk Cousins against the Saints last week opening drive where the Vikings abused the Saints) You'd think Daniels would be a deadly roll out/bootleg QB given who his WR's are. You would think that high % throws to build some momentum early on as confidence builders to build up to taking big shots would be a staple in this offense.

He calls such a predictable game and quite often, makes bonehead play calls. In this Tennessee game, LSU is driving, mid first quarter. He calls a run on first and gets stuffed, it looked like a 1 yard loss but the call was no gain. He calls another running play on 2nd and 10 and it goes for 2, he put a struggling offense in a 3rd and 8, deep in the opponents territory and you don't move the chains the following play. All year there has been ridiculous BS play calls and he's done absolutely nothing to create rhythm in the early portions of the game. That 3rd and 9 swing pass play call, YIKES, just shows how bad he is at this.

This guy is a deer in headlights, it's like he inherited an upgrade in talent that he's not used to having and not knowing how the use it. I'm not saying LSU is super talented this year but its better than what he had a Cincinnati.

His team choked more than Stormy Daniels after that 15-1 run to start the season. That alone was firable, even before all that other BS.

The Tigers Basketball team just isn't as good as people thought, a bit of fools gold here at the start. They have talent on the roster, just need time to harness it to full potential.
My mans having fun, let him be the cringe we need. When he brings a natty, I hope he does the most ridiculous dance on stage to piss off the national media morons.

Burrow got lit up tonight but he made the winning throw when he had to. Freaking warrior, he's going to FEEL it in the morning.
The alignment is just too powerful for him.
I don't want him coaching Carolina. Let him go somewhere else.
I don't understand why this bowl is so late. Usually all the lesser bowls happen before New Years eve. This Bowl falls 6 days before the natty, just extremely weird to have such a late bowl after New Years day.

Well, to be fair, Bama wouldn't be in the college playoff if UGA didn't trout out a 1985 offense with a game manager QB that can't on a whim have a 350+ yard passing day. I knew they were screwed the moment the broadcast put their QB stats on the screen.

No way, no how, unless Bama just gave the football away 2-3 times. Meanwhile, Bama over the past couple of years has evolved to the point where they can throw the football for 400+ yards, sling it all over the field. You can't have game manager QB offenses against that type of firepower.
