Could he be a behind the scenes hire this month?
I feel like Okie St is like Auburn lite. Second state school, usually 8-4 to 10-2.
He applied for the Tennessee job last off-season and rumors are he wants a change and doesn’t feel appreciated
Could the mullet go to Arkansas or Mizzou or another opening?

I’ve seen some Oklahomans saying he’s done at OSU, but not sure how legit that it.
He’s a good coach. I’d be happy with him at Mizzou.

His son did or does go to Arkansas.

Gundy is similar to Leach in some ways, the defense is a speed bump for their offenses.
They would rather trade points, hope they hold a team to a fg, than actually stop people.

I dunno, seems to me he could have had a good shot at any of the big boy jobs that have been open in the past few years: Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Texas. Why leave now for Arkansas? That job may be a step down from Okie Light. At best it’s a lateral move

Him anywhere else just feels wrong. He’s as Oklahoma State as they come. Him in the SEC would be bizarre to say the least.

I seriously doubt he ever leaves Oklahoma State for another school.

OSU has always been 2nd in the state in football. Will never change. He has had more 9 & 10 win seasons than any coach in their history. He has 8 seasons with 9 or more wins.

No he really did not "apply" for the Tennessee job. Coaches with tenures as long as Gundy do not apply for anything.

Probably headed to the Dallas Cowboys as head coach/OC. Jerry ain't letting him go to Arkansas when he's needed in Dallas.
