Hartline makes no sense to me. I'd rather take a chance on Golesh or Morris, who actually have head coaching experience and have recruited the south extensively.

People forgetting Hartline had play calling duties stripped from him not too long ago.

This is not true

Day changed his mind about calling plays before the season because he wasn't ready to give it up yet

This info is from people at Ohio st on staff

Well good thing LSU has a guy on their recruiting staff that came directly from Ohio St that can give the lowdown on what they think of Hartline

No Freeman please. I think he would be about the same caliber as Kelly as far as W/L go. If not the 2 big names mentioned then go with USF coach AG

Tell me why Hartline is a better choice over an AAC head coach or some of the other OC's?

He has only been an full time OC for 2023 and this year.

I am sincerely asking…

Good vague thing to say that would make it seem like he has an inside source and can’t be proven wrong. He’s full of shite.

You think Gordon isn’t connected to the program and is just pretending to have an inside source?

He is the inside source.

There were some other interesting tidbits in that interview:
Gordon didn’t sound like a fan of BK, said the players he works with told him they rarely saw him
He said during last hiring process, Woody brought the BOS a list of 3 names and the BOS told Woody to go get BK so he did
Also repeated what Landry said in that a single donor is not paying the entire buyout. He didn’t make it sound like they have all of the money for the entire buyout.

I think the best guy out there for us is Jeff Brohm.

Even if they don’t come, the market price is being adjusted upward. Kiffin is likely to be the highest paid coach regardless of where he coaches.

Gordon is a source you idiot.

You don’t think the guy who gives millions to players to come to LSU isn’t connected?

Im with you, LSU should not have to take a gamble on guys that have such little experience. Sure, it could pay off, but theres zero reason to gamble with so many decent coaches out there.

Little lying Landry does too and that’s why he fired Woody.

No more big game hunting and if we get a big name, he will be paid on performance!

No more guarantees!!!!
