It’s what our athletic director does.

They waited until the coaches that were in the Coaches Potal got jobs at other schools. I’m surprised it has taken this long to fire Stoops

I think someone needs to take a deep cut rising coach.
I’d go for Chesney if I was them.

Not sure who UK thinks they can hire that would do any better than Stoops? Isn't he their winningest coach in program history?

He supposedly wasn’t that great at Ole Miss as the AD before A&M. He just fails upwards.

I have no idea how he keeps getting better jobs when every school that has him is glad to see him leave. He must be incredible at kissing booster arse.

Ouch.
Nearly $40 million has to be paid out between now and the end of January.

Not a good time to be looking for a coach

After all the early carnage, I figured most of the warm seat/bubble coaches would get another year. But too many boosters at too many schools are just in a race to prove they can spend money.

Bout time. Should have done that 3 years ago. I wonder what the scholarly Kidge Ramsay has to say about it?

Kentucky has to have the worst timing since LSU announced it was raising football season ticket prices before losses to Vanderbilt and Texas A&M and firing Brian Kelly.

I believe Kentucky owes him somewhere in the neighborhood of a $35 million buyout. Their athletic department is already facing a projected $31 million budget deficit for 2025 and had to borrow $141 million from the university.

Who in the hell would want to take over that dumpster fire...
