Give me DRINK and Baker is a lock.
Everyone keeps saying this except for when the Tulane HC job opens he is probably #1 on their list.
Drinkiwitz has a terrible record against top 25 7-16 and 1-9 vs top 10.

This is a dumb take

”don't” make panties moist at LSU.
For one, I'm no English major but I would think if you were that educated and made that much money you would go with a “doesn't”make panties moist.

Lane will create a monster at LSU. He knows it and so does every one else that's why they are trying to pry him away from signing here.

I’m good with that. Sanity has exposed itself on trant.

Don't confuse opinions with facts. You're trying to pass off your opinion as fact.

Same!!! I’m over this Kiffin crap he ain’t that good people. Remember the talent comes to LSU the talent is in the state of LA.
We just need a hungry good coach that’s not a comedy show and it will take care of itself

Why does everyone think Dilly would be so much cheaper? He’s told his players he’s staying. He’s at his Alma mater. He’s happy. He just made the playoffs. It’ll take a big big contract, and big raise for him to consider leaving that.

bring in a younger guy with some fire.
Lane is 50. Saban was 48 when we hired him. You don’t think guys have fire at this age?

He’ll leave if you offer enough money. Everyone has a price.

Save millions
You realize it's going to cost LSU no matter who they hire. Dillingham is almost making 8 million at ASU. His entire family basically lives in his neighborhood. He went to ASU. He'd hold the all the cards if LSU even offered him. So, he's probably wouldn't for anything under 12 million.
The coaches and the agents know what to ask for now......

No. I’d take USF’s coach before him
Posted on 11/24/25 at 8:27 am to FLBooGoTigs1
I’m fine with that but not sure Dilly is leaving a state

I mean wtf has he done other then win some games the last few years.
Your criteria for preference clearly have nothing to do with wins and losses, as you point out he has done exactly what one should do for wins and loses and yet you reject his accomplishments on same. You are arguing with yourself there.

People keep saying this but it's nonsense. He may love ASU but if he ever wants to win a national title, he has to go elsewhere. He is constantly having to beg for NIL contributions from local businesses during press conferences and now his QB is leaving for greener pastures. If he's as driven as he appears, he will have to leave his alma mater. It would be foolish not to do it when his stock is at an all time high.
I can see both sides - with him being an ASU alum and still not even 40, it’s possible he gives ASU more time to get their shite together instead of just bolting. If his QB hits the portal as rumored, however, that’s not a good look for the school.
I’d like to know what contact, if any, he had with Auburn. There were rumors that he interviewed, but those died out as the Sumrall smoke got stronger.

That is my choice after Kiffin.
I actually prefer trying the Dilly route. But, with the list of backup options that I've seen, I would much prefer to just get Kiffin.

He has said in the press he’s not leaving and he’s told his players. They reported it during the game against Colorado this past weekend.
Lol, you new to this? They all say that until they have a huge offer on the table, which I suspect he doesnt have yet. Or an offer for someplace much better.
