As discussed previously, new A.D. John Cohen has a history of going after and hiring hyper intelligent individuals.

This guy is super intelligent, has never lost a bowl game as a head coach, cut his teeth as an offensive line coach, has a fantastic reputation as a master recruiter, Broyles Award Winner (best assistant coach in the country), has been in a national championship winning program, completely out schemed a Nick Saban defense to help win a Natty, Beat the hell out of Kirby as a head coach, loves his players and treats them and others with nothing but respect and has a good overall head coaching record.

Tom Herman

Herman is a great coach, who was probably fired too soon because Texas does stupid shite.

Something tells me he wants a softer place to land than the meat grinder that is Auburn/SEC. Arizona State could make a lot of sense.

Yeah might be a little soft for the SEC. He kisses his players on the cheek

Herman got a bad rap b/c of the shitshow Texas is (although he did pretty well there) and it's amplified on here, for obvious reasons (even though we hired an exponentially worse head coach).

I agree that Herman runs circles around Sark.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with the resume’.

Herman struggled at one place with significant booster dysfunction. Why would he want to go to another one?

Herman wanted to throw away a large piece of Texas' history to be politically correct. He doesn't have the backbone to be in the SEC.

Lmao at you thinking he runs circles around sark. This guy will have every high school coach at Auburn hating him. He is a smug prick and will cost you relationships. You don't want him trust me on this.

This. Listen to the Texas people on this.

His own damn players were negatively recruiting against him, that is how bad he is.

People in Austin HATED him. He’s a complete a-hole.

Not saying Sark is much better in his Xs and Os but Herman was just straight up toxic.

Ask Quinn Ewers why he gave up his dream school then once Herman was gone, came right back.

Couldn't hate him more than they did Harsin. Of course most HS coaches in AL and GA never met Harsin anyway.

In other words, please do it because he wasn't ready at a big-time program. Now it is a good time to pull the trigger and give him a second chance to be successful.

He just got fired from a place with hyper influential booster base. Why would he want exactly the same thing again?

When OU fires Venables, Herman will be their next coach. You heard it here first folks
