I don't get Riley's decision. Maybe Woodward isn't the magician we all think he is.

No it's an easier conference with zero fan pressure

It’s a totally different kind of job so hard to compare tbh

No! And his reasons are simple, he doesn’t want any part of the SEC!

Historically, yes indeed

Right now, not at all.

Not necessarily, but it’s in a way more desirable location and is in a way easier conference.

It’s a lot easier to win that conference, that’s for sure.

Lol yes. They have the pedigree and the media in their back pocket.

But that doesn't mean USC is the better job, which many don't feel it is.

I think there is something to not wanting to be in the SEC if he was willing to leave OU.

Better city, better education for kids, better lifestyle for a person with money, way easier to win there than in the sec, his name will make it easy to lock down the Cali kids again, way lower expectations vs the SEC, less pressure. I mean I’m pissed still but if I was neutral I get it.

Definitely didn’t seem like he liked the idea of coaching in the SEC either.

Much deeper history and national brand.

Definitely more prestigious. It's a far better school, more desirable locale, bigger brand, etc.

Is it a better program practically? Of course not.

What if these reports are also a smokescreen?

If most had a choice of living in L.A. or LA, they would choose the former

Dude it’s SoCal compared to Baton Rouge. Not even close. Especially if the per year is comparable.

If he takes USC he is flat out running from the SEC he wanted no part of it as the coach of Oklahoma and definitely didn't want to come to LSU as part of the SEC then
