Ensminger told Orgeron he doesn’t want this job. He only took it because he’s a team player and wants to win. Ensminger has been a loyal Tiger this whole time and a good recruiter.

He did not politic for this job nor lobby for it. O forced him into it. So let’s please blame O when it goes south. Ensminger has a good legacy at LSU and it sucks it’s at risk of being demolished.

Ensminger did not hire himself as OC. We know where blame goes. It goes to Alleva, then O. Can't fire one without firing the other.

I love Ensminger like I love Les. Great guy, loves LSU. I feel bad because O is pretty much going to keep his leash short anyway. O will do what O wants to do.

Agree I can’t fault Ensminger but just hope he changes his mind before it’s official. This is all on the fool Orgeron and his buddy Alleva.

Yeah I mean The 6 people who will blame Ensminger are strangely absent from the board today.

I blame just about everyone involved but Ensminger.

Won't blame Ensminger, ever. But he's going down with the ship. A victim of his own loyalty, just like Les. When a New AD comes in, I highly doubt he brings in a coach that retains any of the offensive assistants... unless the next HC is Aranda. I believe Aranda would retain Ensminger.

I don’t think you have anything to worry about.

If you take a job you are not qualified for and you suck at that job, you deserve blame. That being said, our Administration gets most of the blame.

Orgeron is shoehorning Ensminger into the position even though he knows Ensminger doesn't want it.

This is crazy.

Ensminger has never been a successful coordinator. I like Steve, but if true, this is a poor poor hire.

You blame them both.

I wouldn't put Ensminger in this position. Ensminger shouldn't put himself in this position.

If he takes the job, he chooses to put himself in the line of fire. And, he's not doing it for the love of the school. Offensive coordinators aren't in short supply.

He deserves every ounce of criticism he earns.

But if O is continually telling him he is the only man for the job and the team needs him?

I'm placing blame at 10% ensminger / 30% Alleva / 118% O

frick that.
Here is the deal. He sees the writing on the wall and wants one last payday at his age. I get it, but he has to understand what this does to our school.

I don’t know Steve, but if I did, I would tell him to retire. Zero is going to use him as a scapegoat, and that ain’t no lie. Zero has no loyalty.

No, Ensminger is going to take the money that comes with the promotion, he will be responsible.

Team player, bullshite! This is a business and he knows all too well that he needs to cash in while his cash cow is still HC.

If he loved LSU, he'd say "No, hire the best, I ain't it".
