And what happens in this scenario when Herman leaves for another job after next season and we’re stuck on the O bus of trying to replace OCs every year.

Good coordinators leave for bigger jobs. I want our coordinators to get bigger jobs. That's a sign of a successful program. Good head coaches don't fall apart when this happens.

If going Aranda the best option for OC is Joe Brady. Together they orchestrated the greatest college football team ever known to man.

And why would he promise Herman when his OC right now is one of the hottest in CFB

He’s a good play caller and QB coach

Herman as OC would be dynamite.
I would agree ONLY if Aranda bans the kissing of players.

Ive heard Hermans name a bunch with some of the jobs open. There could be 30 jobs come open and he might take a G5 gig.

You’re asking Dave Aranda to hire elite offensive minds and develop a system that we can file in new coordinators every year or two. Not saying that he can’t do it, but it’s a risk. He fired his OC/PGC after one year. The offense they’re running at Baylor this year probably wouldn’t work at LSU.

You're asking that of whomever we hire, either on offense, defense, or both. Which coach can we hire to alleviate that risk?

Y’all really think Aranda is putting a staff together for another job while he’s trying to win the big12 lol

The M.O. for a Woodward is to have his hands on coordinator hires.

I would t dismiss it for that reason.

Not disagreeing with you but wouldn’t be surprised if Grimes gets a HC opportunity after this year

Who was Herman's offensive coordinator when he was at Texas? Maybe he would be a better choice.

There's just something about Herman that seems smarmy and creepy. Every time his name is mentioned, I think of the video of him in the hard hat, trying to destroy the locker with a sledgehammer. Such a spaz.
