If Mike Tomlin is interested in LSU

(As reported by Doug Whaley), you give up the year’s recruits if necessary to secure him . Not ideal, but that’s a hire that would qualify as the biggest hire in CFB history.
The kind of hire that secures the AD’s legacy as the best in CFB.

You think if his daughter goes to LSU on a gymnastics scholarship he’d be interested?

you think Mike Tomlin is worried about college tuition?

Doug Whaley didn't report anything. He brought up a hypothetical for why Tomlin should be interested in USC or LSU. There's nothing to this.

I’m a big Steelers fan and Tomlin is a very intellectual guy but I don’t see him doing the recruiting thing, which means he wouldn’t survive in CFB. You must recruit at a high level to build a championship caliber team. Don’t think he’s into kissing teenagers asses.

Please stop with the Tomlin shite….
We have a better chance of getting Saban than the coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers

Tomlin is a good Pro coach. Not a college coach.

This is retarded. Bad pro coaches (Saban) can be elite college coaches, but good pro coaches can’t?

He spent six years as a college coach before he made the jump to the NFL, but this is a pipe dream.

It’s all about recruiting and handling very young players. The NFL expects players to be responsible for their improvement and to take advantage of every opportunity….B/C of the bundles of money they are being paid. That level of personal responsibility is just not present with many high school grads. And make no mistake, if they are highly recruited and don’t start right away….they’ll transfer.

The Madden game boys are all on board for Tomlin
