Seems like he’s flat out saying he wants the job. If I was Liberty, I’d be pissed he answered it that way

Freeze has brought more attention and legitimacy to their football program then any other time. They will do nothing except hope they can keep him there at least another season.

Do I recall correctly that one of his daughters went to auburn? I may be making that up but I seem to remember that. Also he basically described auburn when he said he was only interested in teams that are in smaller college towns. He’s take if if AU would offer. I think he’d be a low risk candidate with a high enough upside to make it make sense.

His daughter Jordan went to Auburn then transferred to Liberty when he was hired there to finish her degree, but she lives in Auburn now with her new husband, she got married this past spring.
Hugh Freeze would crawl to Auburn right now, just not sure that is the direction Auburn wants to go.
