Via source 2: Rumored group to follow Kelly to LSU consists of:
Brian Kelly HC
Jeff Quinn Oline coach
Mike Elston Dline coach
Tommy Rees OC
Jacob Flint Strength & Conditioning
Del Alexander WR’s coach

I did get this info from somebody on the coaches board so credit to him however thoughts on these coaches and how you would feel about keeping some of our current coaches on staff? Such as Brad Davis, and Blake Baker?

We gotta get their S&C coach and their OLine coach for sure. Those would be massive upgrades

Regardless if he is telling the truth or not what are your thoughts on the matter?

I watched highlights of the Notre Dame /Stanford game. Notre Dame threw the ball to a guy named Tight End a lot. Weird

I feel like we should let Brian Kelly bring whoever he wants here

Ecstatic.
Elston is one of the best d line coaches and quinn is damn good on the o line.
This is setting up nicely.

You are that dumb right?
One 2 min drill and the guy can't coach?
Special education.

Jeff Quinn has been with Kelly since his days at Grand Valley St. I’m sure he’s coming.

Getting Elston and Quinn is crucial. Those two guys are murderers.
Flint is outstanding and I'm sure he's coming.
Alexander has done some serious work in his time at Notre Dame, and everywhere he's been he's put kids into the NFL, most of whom weren't close to as talented as what we have.
Rees runs a gorgeous offense. If you watch the YouTubes of their games this year, what he's done with Jack Coan as the QB is really pretty amazing. My question there is whether he'll come seeing as though he's a Notre Dame alum. Guess it depends on who the new coach there is going to be.

Strength Coach would be a big loss, offensive line coach is awful no loss. I think Tommy would be ok to keep. I think BK handicapped him.
Some ND fan on twitter.

Kelly is the 3rd winningest active coach in college football behind Saban and Mac Brown.
You let him choose whoever the frick he wants on his staff.

ND fan/alum here.
Quinn is terrible. Harry Hiestand (the old OL coach before he went to the Bears) was outstanding, Quinn is not. You don't want him. And so as an ND guy, I hope he goes (Hiestand was let go by the Bears but apparently still lives in South Bend, so I'm hoping whoever our new HC is re-hires him).
Elston's a really good coach, and pretty good recruiter, you'd probably want him. I hope we don't lose him to you guys.
Rees is... okay. Not great. Pretty young. Think you could do better. He has potential, but I think he would've been better served gaining some different experiences/offensive philosophies. He's been under Kelly (both as a player and coach) for virtually his entire post-high school football life.
Alexander is pretty meh. You could do worse, you could also do a lot better.
No real opinion on Flint, I don't think he's ND head of S&C, just an assistant. Our S&C has significantly improved in recent years, but that's probably more because of our new head S&C hire in 2017. Flint was at ND for Kelly's entire tenure and S&C wasn't good the early part of it (but that was also a different head of S&C).
tl;dr: You want Elston. You don't want Quinn. Rees/Alexander/Flint you could take or leave.

Curious why you say that. I honestly don't know much about him besides he would be a 29 year old taking over the LSU OC job. What's his style of offense? How has he improved the ND offense since he has been there? Does Kelly run the offense really or does he have full play calling abilities? I am genuinely curious.

Not sure about him bringing his WR guy. First, I think the HC absolutely should get to pick his staff. That's his job.
I just want to say that Mickey Joseph has been one of the most pleasant coaching hire surprises in a long time for me as an LSU fan. I wasn't sold on him when he got the job, but he has been an outstanding recruiter and continually churns out talented WRs. I would hope they find a spot for him on this staff. If not, thank you for what you've given us over the years, Mickey.
Other current coaches I wouldn't be upset to see retained: Raymond (obviously), Baker, Faulk, Jones.
