He has to play baylor there and Iowa State and Oklahoma State at home. They are going to win all of those three

1. Going with a worse candidate just because their season finishes ~6 weeks after yours isn't exactly smart. If Lincoln Riley actually happens (and to be clear it still probably won't even though I'm much more of a believer than I was when I woke up this morning), don't worry about recruiting. Recruits will be falling over themselves to come to LSU if that happens.
2. OU will not be in the playoffs. I don't know how you could have possibly seen the Tulane (still 1 win by the way), Nebraska, WVU, and Kansas games and thought that this is a team that will come out of Oklahoma State, Iowa State, Baylor, and probably Oklahoma State again undefeated. OU needed a terrible call to beat Kansas, and Kansas looked just as incompetent as ever.

Guys Riley has a 25M buyout I doubt LSU is paying 26M for O and his assistants a 25M buyout plus the new coach salary

Lincoln Riley’s buyout if he leaves for another job is slightly less than $10m. (Still a large buyout btw)
A buyout getting fired without cause is a completely different buyout than if a coach leaves for another job. They are two completely different clauses and amounts in a contract.

The way they’ve played this year, yeah they’ll probably lose one and be out.
But they’ll definitely be favored in every game remaining. I could see it going either way at this point…I give them a 50/50 chance of winning out
