Art Briles knew about sexual assault, and dismissed the accusations to protect players. That is a fact. He did everything he could to obstruct investigations that is a fact.
He welcomed players from other schools who had been dismissed for sexual assault. That is a fact. When that player sexually assaulted someone at Baylor, Briles claimed he did not know of the history. That is a fact. Chris Petersen emailed him, and called him to let him know exactly why the player would not be at Boise. That is a fact. Art Briles is a liar. That is a fact. Briles was complicit in the cover up of multiple sexual assault allegations against his players. That is a fact.

Not sure if you realize this or not but Art is not Kendal. Art Briles definitely had a hand in the rape scandall. Again, show me anywhere where Kendal was found guilty of anything.

I like the prospects of running a Briles (led by Junior Briles) offense, but the dark cloud over what Baylor did to conceal rape by football players, makes Junior a major risk as OC. This could lead to a Schiano type of public intervention which is not what we need right now. I am conflicted on this, but think that the risk outweighs the gain.

Trump is supposed leader of the free world, has his finger on the nuclear button ... in other words, a fairly important dude. He's been accused by 12 or so women of various types of sexual abuse. We know what he said about grabbing pussies. We know that he bragged on the radio about walking into the Miss America dressing room to ogle young naked girls. All established.
Do I say impeach him for those things? No. Not impeachable offenses in my view. Certainly, they establish that he's a loathsome human being ... but we already knew that.
My point, which is in fact relevant to this board, is that our society has its priorities waay off-kilter in that we hold the coaches of a kids' game to a higher standard of conduct than we hold the President of the US.
Briles Jr. wasn't charged; he's presently coaching at FAU; by all accounts he'd be a great addition to the LSU coaching staff. If the LSU powers that be screw it up b/c of past allegations that did not result in anything against Mr. Briles, Jr., then, I think that's ridiculous.

And Art Briles isn't the guy we are talking about potentially becoming the offensive coordinator here. That is a fact.

Hell, I wish we’d fire Ogre and just hire Art Briles as head coach and Kendal as OC. The Briles offense with Dave at the helm of the D would be devastating for the college football world.
