I dont know if its all about appearances. On the first of december I had posted that Briles was the first name mentioned in the "search" if you can call it that.
And so far Briles is the only coach that still gets brought up as a candidate consistently. There is something to this.

No "dark cloud" should prevent the hiring of the younger Briles. Period. A dark cloud hangs over our whole damn program, and a hire like KB would greatly help in removing that cloud. I don't buy any "hurdles" being too much to overcome.

Ensminger never wanted OC, he’s stated that multiple times, which is why it was annoying to see all these stupid LSU fans crying and saying “done deal we have Ensminger as OC. LSU is mediocre now”.
