You made this a little too black and white
so I call BS on most of this
There is a difference between an assault charge and an assault conviction.
During the time Art may have protected his players or known about charges is not hte same thing as covering up evidence or denying a conviction.

Art Briles is not in jail in fact Baylor changed thier position in 2017
paid him 6.2 in 2015 after they fired him.
Baylor letter supports Briles in 2017

That's the only decision to be made what you said. The bottom line with Briles you will gain more money. This should be the administration's main priority. Their is no such thing as a prestige award in coaching hires. The prestige shoimuldnt factor in.
