What the frick are you talking about? This isn’t a Miles BBQ Buddy situation. They didn’t have a tight relationship and hadn’t worked together. Pete Carrol recommended him to O. You can thank him.

I’ll say it again when you don’t know what the frick you’re talking about you should keep your thoughts to yourself. O hardly knew Bo. He was recommended to O and Woodward. Woodard brokered the deal and O got along with Bo after a few meetings. They were never friends before this season end of story.

Canada didn’t have To deal with the covid bs, no spring practice opt outs reduce contact practice etc. Take your vaccine so practical people can get back to normal.

Perhaps they have developed a friendship over the past year, but they have never crossed paths before personally or professionally.

He was not a “friend” hire.

Your stupid fro retaining a coach that produced the statistically worse defense in team history.
And don’t talk about the money, it will be negotiated amd paid out over several years. FYI in 2023 we get an additional $25 mill because of the new ESPN deal. That’s in addition to the $54 mill we already get. So we are fine money wise

THERE IS ZERO CHANCE Leonard comes here.
Can you hear that? ZERO as in none. Not happening.

God I hope I am wrong but he has not left for other big school jobs or for more money. He is where he wishes to be coaching. Until the school lets him go he will be a coach at Wisconsin.

LSU is not getting any elite, big-name DC. The industry knows Ed O is a dead man walking and will most likely be gone after next season. LSU will either get another Pelini-like has been trying to swindle one last payday or an up and coming young guy trying to make a name. No one with a happening career is going to wager their name on an apparent sinking ship.

Maybe, but we seem to be signing a lot of WDE's who are strikingly similar to Chaisson, Key, Hunter, etc. Orgeron might take a 3-4 defense that keeps opponents under 20 each week to go along with his 30-40 pt offense. Attacking defenses are great, but winning SEC and CFP titles are much better.

No haven’t heard the rumors but Jim Leonhard has to be your first call and you have to have him say no before you move on. He’s simply just the best in the business another #1 defense in the county again this year his ability to continuously put out a top defense every single year regardless of personnel turnover is wildly impressive. If you can’t money whip Leonhard away from his alma mater then your next call is Marcus Freeman Cincinnati and you make him an offer he can’t refuse there defense may have been my favorite to watch the last couple of year with playing out of multiple alignments 4-3, 3-3-5, 4-2-5 and letting their athletes make plays.
