Guess Les Miles’ Assistants At Kansas Thread

I heard a legitimate mention from my brother in law yesterday. He is a coach who worked with and stays in touch with Will Hall, Neal Brown, among others. He was the one who informed me that Neal Brown, not Frank Wilson, was getting the Troy job a few years back which allowed me to put the LSU RB at ease a week before the hiring was made official.
Anyway, he said that Les has reached out to Josh Henson for the role of OC and RC.
Anyone want to make a guess?
Will Peveto be his DC? Les has hired him 3 times before (as LB, as DC, as ST).
Will we see the return of Larry Porter? Will Stud be cast out by Urban and end up back with ole pal Les? Will the bbq buddies reunite?

If Graham Harrell doesn’t get a HC job, he would be a potential OC. Rhett Lashlee might also get a look. Defensively Kevin Kane who is currently DC at SMU and a former Jayhawk will be mentioned a lot. As will Andy Avalos, current DC at Boise.

He will probably put together a very solid staff. For the most part outside one assistant or two, he has always had very good assistants as a HC
My biggest issues with Les's "hires" was promoting from within
Mallory/Peveto promoted to Co-DC's was bad, but we did bring in Chavis that following season
Peveto at ST coordinator did not go well

I could see one of these if they get fired this year.

Dirk Koetter
Larry Fedora
I doubt Koetter leaves the NFL, same with Monken.
Fedora may only take head coaching jobs.
Sarkisian has been a target before.
Clay Helton if he doesn’t get another year.
They may all keep their jobs but would be decent candidates for Kansas.

Les will probably be able to take stud and a few others once the Buckeyes clean house on our defensive staff.

Guys like Peveto, Josh Henson, Todd Monken, and Chevis Jackson make a lot of sense.
