Spurrier had a special on him where he admitted this. Wanted to see if his system would work at the pro level ect.

Correct. The new facilities opened earlier this year. Mora also got salaries for assistant coaches raised by a good bit.

This was Spurrier's statement from when he resigned:
"I'm not burned out, stressed out or mentally fatigued from coaching," Spurrier said in a statement. "I just feel my career as a college head coach, after 15 years, is complete, and if the opportunity and challenge of coaching an NFL team happens, it is something I would like to pursue."

I think he dealt with enough of Phil Knight etc that this isn't a big concern. At any big name program that has backyard recruits will have boosters and expectations to deal with.
I think his own expectations are higher.

His dad is a doctor who repaired Scott's brother's harelip as a kid, and they now live next door to the Frosts. His nephew plays football for Parkview Christian, where Frost's father is head coach.
My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out a 31 Flavors last night.
I guess it's pretty serious....
