Former players wanted Ed O. No offense but I take any former players opinion with a grain of salt especially those who were coached by the guy

I would like to know if the USC fan base is freaking out with panic. I understand doubtful, because clearly they aren't as passionate.
He is still not going to sign with anybody until the season is over right?
Say he signed with USC, could LSU still go get him? I realize unlikely, but I want to know if it is still technically possible? LSU seems willing to pay a buyout for the right coach.
It wouldn't be the first time a coach agreed/signed to come to USC and left them for a better opportunity before every coaching them. Kliff Kingsbury.
