I dont feel that strongly one way or the other but personally I feel like Napier would make it rain at lsu with our talent.

How many Power of 5 colleges in Louisiana? How many Power of 5 colleges in Texas?

For perspective Texas is the most talent rich state in the nation. There's really 3 teams, UT, A&M and OU (consider them Texas-north) competing for the blue chip players. The other P5 teams in Texas get the left overs. Louisiana has talent, but doesn't produce a consistent level of OL talent and QB (except the last few years). Our biggest nemesis is Saban who has ties throughout the state and just won another NC with LA players featured.

I'd rather compete against Texas P5 for recruits than Saban. Bama raids Texas too, but Nick coached here and has deep connections.

Yeah, that's some BS

I'm not going to argue it's easy, but since 2002 LSU has only had 5 classes outside the top-10 (according to rivals.com). So, to say it's easy may be a stretch. But that's consistent performance across 3 different head coaches.

Ah the ole “if I personally can’t think of a coach that could succeed at LSU, then no one can” that is incessantly posted here.

How original.

Well O went 15-0, so pretty much any coach can do it if the stars align perfectly.

1. Consistently bring in top 10 recruiting classes
2. Go 15-0

1. Any halfway decent coach this has been proven
2. Why only pick last year? How about 6-2, 9-4, 10-3, 5-5?

I'm not ready to fire O but don't act like he is some special coach everyone is trying to pry from LSU.

You answer this: If he left LSU what HC job would he get?

Even in down years in La. Recruiting O has gone out across the country to Maryland, Michigan, Colorado and Utah. Dude is a recruiting wiz. Texas can't recruit its own state against LSU, OU, bama etc. They also have the largeat budget of any school in Texas and certainly larger than LSU. But we whoop their arse at it.

No reason for panic or rash decisions. Give CEO 5 more years, then evaluate. If he still only has one championship and one undefeated season, then only extend his contract for 2 more. That's enough of a sample to make a decision.

I'd think that all the posters that melted when Ed was hired and there were many, and most all of those posters admitted they were wrong about Ed during and after the 2019 season, will easily be able to answer your question and give you some awesome names like Larry Fedora, Tom Herman etc.

These negatard O haters just wont quit.

Doesn’t matter.
2019 broke these bitches and 2020 made them feel alive again.
Imagine that, wanting your team to fail bc you hate the coach. That’s what democrats do.

I understand there are legit concerns after last season, but anyone wanting him gone are beyond reasoning with.

LSU has had two HC's who won NC's in the past 13 years and not a single program wanted/wants to hire them away. That should tell you something. I've been waiting for a HC with at least a modicum of intelligence for the past 15 years. The wait continues.

Funny how O doesn’t get credit for 15-0 but he gets credit for 5-5 . You Dumdasses can’t have it both ways

Not many great HCs want to come here because this fanbase is the WORST! Always complaining and freaking out about unverifiable rumors. It really is sad.
